Base classes for omics preprocessing.

OmicsPreprocessor

Base class for omics array transformations. Each subclass implements process (forward) and optionally reverse (inverse). Calling the instance delegates to process.

process

Applies the transform (forward direction).

Input array to transform.
Returns: Transformed array.

reverse

Undo the transform (inverse direction). Raises NotImplementedError for irreversible transforms.

Transformed array to invert.
Returns: Array in the original space.

OmicsPipeline

Chains multiple OmicsPreprocessor steps sequentially. Forward: input → step[0] → step[1] → … → output Reverse: output → step[-1].reverse → … → step[0].reverse → input

Applies all pipeline steps in sequence.

Input array to transform.
Returns: Array after applying all steps.

reverse

Applies all pipeline steps in reverse order.
​
Transformed array to invert.
Returns: Array in the original space.
